OUARZAZATE AND ITS SURROUNDINGS

 

 

Aït Ben Haddou - - a half-day

 

Site protected by the UNESCO, which will make you discover a very old ksar (village). Place of shooting of many films (Laurence of Arabia, Gladiator, the Diamond of the Nile)

 

 

Oasis of Fint - - a half-day

 

At 10km of track from Ouarzazate. After a stroll in the oasis, you will go to drink the tea at the chief of the village.

 

 

Amethysts - - 1 day

 

At 50 km of track from Ouarzazate. After a stroll on foot or in mule, you will see a site renowned for its amethysts.

 

 

Palm grove of SKORA - - 1 day

 

At 30 km from Ouarzazate, you will make a tour in the palm grove. Visit of the Kasbah of Amérhidil, and return to Ouarzazate after a stop at the lake.

 

 

Dadès and Todra Gorges - - 1 day

 

After 3 hours of road, you will arrive at the Gorges of Todra to have lunch there. Return in Ouarzazate after a stop at the Gorges of Dadès.

 

 

Valley of the Roses - - 1 day

 

After 2 hours of road, you will take the track which will lead you to Tamalout. Stroll in the village and return in Ouarzazate by the track of Aït Youl which joins the Gorges of Dadès.

 

 

Kasbahs - - a half-day

 

Visit of the Kasbah of Taourirt, Tifoultoute and the Storks
